The project is developed through a partnership with the State Department of Education of Maranhão and Vale S.A. for the provision of Technical-Pedagogical Advisory in the development of actions to strengthen Basic Education in public schools of 23 municipalities located near the Carajás Railway, in the State of Maranhão.
They are areas of activity of the Project:
- Production of structured material to support the training process of education professionals in the municipal and state networks;
- Implementation of a continuing education process, networked, for education professionals in the municipal and state networks;
- Production of content for the training of high school students in the state education network (average age between 15 and 17 years) with a focus on human rights and encouragement of youth protagonism;
- Organization of training meetings with students, focused on themes of youth protagonism development, human rights, youth culture, and the identity of the contemporary young person in the school environment and in society; and
- Development of research on the adequacy and impact of the high school reform in the schools of the state network in Maranhão.
