The Program constitutes a space for training, reflection, and knowledge production aimed at understanding the contemporary challenges of public management, governance, and development. With an interdisciplinary approach, the program articulates teaching, research, and applied debate, promoting the critical analysis of political, institutional, and social processes at the local, national, regional, and international levels. Its structure includes courses, seminars, extension activities, and research initiatives dedicated to topics such as public policies, government and public administration, innovation in the public sector, governance, regional integration, paradiplomacy, international cooperation, among others. The proposal seeks to connect theoretical foundations and practical experiences, encouraging the construction of innovative solutions to complex political problems. The program focuses on the training of managers, researchers, students, social leaders, and professionals interested in understanding the transformations of the State and civil society from a local, regional, and global perspective.
Objectives
- To promote qualified and interdisciplinary training in the State, government, public policies, regional integration, paradiplomacy, and contemporary themes of public management, articulating theoretical foundations, critical analysis, and practical application.
- To produce and disseminate scientific and applied production through research, analysis, publications, and observatories, contributing to the understanding of contemporary challenges of governance, development, and institutional transformations at the local, national, and international levels.
- To foster innovation, dialogue, and cooperation among academia, governments, international organizations, the productive sector, and civil society, strengthening the formulation, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based public policies committed to sustainable development, democracy, and regional integration.
