This project belongs to the following programs: Citizenship, Social Participation, and Public Policies
Coordination: Jenny de la Rosa
Funding: Flacso Brazil
The project identified the digital knowledge of Latin American indigenous migrant women and men, as well as refugees from different countries, considered within levels of vulnerability. In the project, this knowledge was understood as the degree of use of mobile devices, applications, and virtual platforms, as well as their internet connectivity, with the aim of developing an educommunication niche that enabled training in rights, citizenship, and public policies, around one or more themes identified with migrants and refugees.
One of the distinguishing features is that this training was carried out by members of the communities themselves, using the identified technologies. It is expected that, in the future, it will become an ongoing public policy.
