The Equality Agenda was a project developed in partnership between Flacso Brazil and the Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO).

It brought together intellectuals, researchers, social movement activists, and policymakers responsible for the formulation and management of public policies to discuss the current challenges of Brazilian development.

The project aimed to contribute to strengthening and expanding the democratic achievements of the past decade, addressing the challenges of building a development model that combines economic growth and stability with the promotion of social justice and the expansion of fundamental rights, which are often denied to broad sectors of Brazilian society. Its central axis was structured around some of the main challenges of Brazil’s contemporary social agenda.
