Adolescent Participation Committee of the National Council for the Rights of Children and Adolescents – CPA/CONANDA

Definitions: Implement a pilot project to facilitate the participation of 47 adolescent representatives from the councils of the rights of children and adolescents from the states and the Federal District, from 10 social entities of diverse groups, selected by Conanda’s virtual platform for adolescent participation.

General Objective: The purpose of this Letter is to implement a pilot project to facilitate the organized social participation of adolescents from the Adolescent Participation Committee (CPA) in support of CONANDA and the National Secretariat for the Rights of Children and Adolescents – SNDCA, in accordance with Resolution 159/2013, which provides for the process of adolescent participation in state and district councils for the rights of children and adolescents, and Resolution 191/2017, which established a permanent mechanism for social participation of adolescents in CONANDA.

Actions: FLACSO will carry out the programming and implementation of the actions listed in the Work Plan in order to achieve, according to the established schedules, the results outlined below:

  • Validation of practice and methodology for selecting adolescents to join the CPA
  • Training and methodological support to state and Federal District councils so that they can implement Resolutions 191/2017 and 159/2013;
  • Training and methodological support for adolescent Social Participation within CONANDA.
