São Paulo – A startup Veduca, portal que reúne videoaulas, recebeu novo aporte no valor de 1,1 milhão de reais. Os investidores são a Bolt Ventures (antiga Mountain do Brasil), Macmillan Digital e 500 Startups.

A primeira rodada de investimento aconteceu no ano passado e o valor do aporte foi de 1,5 milhão de reais.

Fundada pelos empreendedores Carlos Souza, Marcelo Mejlachowicz, André Tachian e Eduardo Zancul, o portal foi ao ar em março do ano passado. Hoje, tem mais de 5.700 videoaulas de instituições como Harvard, Standford, Yale, Princeton e UCLA, além de brasileiras como USP, Unesp e Unicamp.

Em junho deste ano, o portal lançou os primeiros cursos online abertos (MOOCs) e neste mês lançou o MBA online de Engenharia e Inovação.

A startup fez parceria com o Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) e HSM Educação para lançar cursos com programas de certificação a partir do primeiro semestre de 2014.
