This assessment, carried out by a group of thinkers specializing in different subjects, seeks to encompass, as much as possible, the various dimensions of the profound and extensive transformations that Brazil has undergone in these ten years. At the same time, it points out the limits, the bottlenecks, the unresolved problems, and the ways of their possible solutions in the future that could extend these positive transformations throughout the first half of the 21st century, consolidating them and expanding them to other areas.

Part of the result of this work was the production of the books 10 Years of Post-Neoliberal Governments in Brazil – Lula and Dilma (DOWNLOAD HYPERLINK – BELOW) (Emir Sader – Organizer) and La esperanza vence al miedo (DOWNLOAD HYPERLINK – (https://biblioteca-repositorio.clacso.edu.ar/bitstream/CLACSO/12787/1/LaEsperanzaVenceAlMiedo.pdf ) (Daniel Filmus, Victor Santa María, Emir Sader, and Pablo Gentili). The first publication brings together 21 articles from some of the main engaged intellectuals, actively involved in politics over these ten years, and an interview with former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, granted to Emir Sader and Pablo Gentili. The second book, published in Argentina, pays tribute to former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, featuring two of his most important speeches, as well as two interviews that detail significant moments of his political life and the events that shaped the contemporary Brazilian situation.

Objectives
Make an assessment of the administrations of Luís Inácio Lula da Silva and Dilma Rousseff (2002-2012).

Engaged audience
Intellectuals and scholars on the subject, educators, students, associations, general public

Period
2013

Scope
International

Sponsorship
Lula Institute

Team
Emir Sader (Coordenador)
Pablo Gentili
Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva
José Luís Fiori
Marco Aurélio Garcia
Nelson Barbosa
Luiz Gonzaga Belluzzo
Jorge Mattoso
Marilena Chaui
Marcio Pochmann
Tania Bacelar de Araujo
Luiz Pinguelli Rosa
Bernardo Mançano Fernandes
Venício A. de Lima
Liszt Vieira
Renato Cader
Ana Maria Costa
Dalila Andrade
Sergio Machado Rezende
Glauber Piva
Artur Henrique
Eleonora Menicucci de Oliveira
Paulo Vannuchi
Renato Ferreira
‏
Access the project´s hotsite
http://www.flacso.com.br/dez_anos_governos_pos_neoliberais/

‏
Acesse the link to the book:
https://flacso.redelivre.org.br/files/2015/03/10_ANOS_GOVERNOS.pdf

The Project takes stock of a decade that can already be considered one of the most important in Brazilian history – even more so because it follows regressive transformations of […]

[2524
2576
2582,2588
2606,2607
post-60487","projeto","type-projeto","status-publish","hentry","programa-tematico-agenda-for-equality","status_tax-accomplished","tema-democracy","tema-public-policies","tipo_projeto-research","tipo_projeto-technical-cooperation
["GET
