The Human Rights Education Caravan emerges as a concrete action from the convergence of networks, movements, entities, and all people who dedicate themselves to the struggle for the affirmation of human rights as a central element of society and the Brazilian State.<\/p>\n

The project originated at the World Forum on Human Rights (FMDH), with the objective of making the political debate and the culture of broad dialogues permanent, using popular education as a tool, strengthening and encouraging cultural circles and the participation of citizens with the perspective of transforming the political reality of their territories to promote a new social model that has human dignity and democracy as founding principles of the life of all people.<\/p>\n

The Caravan traveled through the states of Minas Gerais, Para\u00edba, Par\u00e1, Acre, Mato Grosso do Sul, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Goi\u00e1s, Rond\u00f4nia, Amap\u00e1, Alagoas, Roraima, and Maranh\u00e3o with diverse and self-managed actions, fostering initiatives incorporated during its journey.<\/p>\n

Objectives<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Weaving educational activities among Social Movements, groups, collectives, individuals, entities, and institutions, bringing the themes and campaigns that arise from FMDH and gathering the voices of vulnerable groups and those in situations of rights violations, giving them a voice to legitimize their demands, with the aim of incorporating their demands into public policies.<\/p>\n

Another objective is to share knowledge, report experiences in human rights education from this Brazilian network and disseminate them, giving visibility to groups, collectives, entities, and social movements.<\/p>\n
